1. About Stratcore Solutions
These terms apply to spreadsheet and data-support services provided by:
Stratcore Solutions Ltd
Company number: 17139373
Registered in: England and Wales
Registered office: 65 South Street, Bishop’s Stortford, England, CM23 3YW
Email: michal.forejtek@stratcore-solutions.co.uk
Website: www.stratcore-solutions.co.uk
In these terms, “Stratcore”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Stratcore Solutions Ltd. “Customer”, “you” and “your” mean the person or organisation purchasing the services.
2. When these terms apply
These terms apply to spreadsheet cleaning, data cleaning, file combination, spreadsheet repair, workbook organisation, trackers, reports and other work agreed in writing.
Information and prices shown on the website are an invitation to enquire and do not by themselves form a contract.
A contract begins when:
we provide you with a written quotation or project scope;
you confirm in writing that you accept it; and
any required advance payment or deposit has been received.
The written quotation or project scope will describe the work, price, expected delivery date, assumptions and exclusions.
If there is any conflict between documents, the following order applies:
the accepted quotation or project scope;
any separate data-processing agreement;
these Terms of Service;
general information on the website.
3. Services and project scope
We will provide the services described in the accepted quotation with reasonable care and skill.
Work is limited to the agreed files, sheets, rows, columns, issues and deliverables. Package prices apply only where the project fits the published package limits.
Unless specifically included in writing, the service does not include:
complex macros or VBA development;
financial, legal, tax or regulatory advice;
auditing the accuracy of every source record;
recovering severely corrupted or password-protected files;
investigating fraud or reconstructing missing information;
ongoing support after the agreed review period;
compatibility with software or systems not identified before work begins.
We will not silently guess where information is ambiguous. Uncertain records or decisions may be highlighted for your review.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
provide accurate instructions and relevant information;
explain the result you need;
tell us about important formulas, dependencies, macros and software requirements;
respond to questions and review requests within a reasonable time;
keep an independent backup of all original files;
check the completed work before relying on it operationally;
have the necessary authority and lawful basis to provide the files and information;
avoid including confidential or personal information in the initial enquiry form.
You remain responsible for decisions made using the completed workbook and for checking that it is suitable before using it in a live business process.
Delivery dates may change if required files, instructions, approvals or answers are delayed.
5. Prices, quotations and payment
Website prices are starting prices or fixed package prices subject to the stated limits.
Before work begins, we will confirm:
the agreed scope;
the fixed price or pricing basis;
any applicable taxes;
the payment schedule;
the proposed delivery date;
what is not included.
The quotation will state whether payment is required in advance, by deposit and balance, or after completion.
Invoices must be paid by the date shown on the invoice. We may pause work or withhold final deliverables while an overdue amount remains unpaid.
Additional work is not included automatically. If the requirements change, we will explain any effect on price and timing before carrying out the additional work.
6. Changes to the project
Either party may identify that the original scope needs to change.
We will not carry out material additional work without your approval. Where a change affects the price or delivery date, we will provide the revised details in writing.
Supplying a different workbook, additional files or substantially different requirements after work has begun may be treated as a change of scope.
7. Delivery and review
Completed work will be delivered using the method agreed for the project.
You should review the deliverable promptly and tell us about any apparent error or omission. Unless the quotation states another period, please report issues within seven calendar days of delivery.
We will correct genuine errors in the agreed work within a reasonable time. New requirements, preference changes or matters outside the original scope may require a separate quotation.
Nothing in this section reduces any statutory rights available to a consumer.
8. Original files and backups
We normally preserve the original file and work on a separate copy.
You must retain your own backup of the original file and should not replace a working business system with the completed version until you have reviewed and tested it.
We are not responsible for errors already present in source data, decisions made according to your instructions, or losses caused by your failure to keep an appropriate backup, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
9. Confidentiality and data handling
We will use information supplied by you only as needed to assess, perform and administer the agreed work, meet legal obligations and resolve any dispute.
A live workbook is not required with the initial enquiry. If a sample or live file is necessary, we will agree an appropriate transfer method first.
We will take reasonable steps to:
restrict access to people who need it for the project;
preserve the original file;
avoid using client data in public examples;
keep uncertain decisions visible;
follow the agreed retention and deletion arrangements.
Client files will not be uploaded to a public artificial-intelligence service without your permission.
Where we process personal data on behalf of your organisation, the parties may need to agree additional written data-processing terms before the information is transferred. You remain responsible for confirming that you are entitled to share that information.
Further information is provided on the Data Handling & Privacy page.
10. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of your original data, files, branding and materials.
After full payment, you may use, copy and modify the completed workbook for your own personal, organisational or business purposes.
We retain ownership of our pre-existing templates, methods, processes, general knowledge and reusable components. Where any such material is included in the deliverable, you receive a continuing licence to use it as part of that deliverable.
We will not publish your name, logo, files or project as a case study without your permission. Fictional or properly anonymised examples may be used provided they do not reveal your confidential information.
11. Cancellation by business customers
If you are purchasing wholly or mainly for business purposes, you may cancel by contacting us in writing.
You must pay for:
work reasonably completed before cancellation;
approved third-party costs already incurred; and
reasonable non-recoverable commitments made specifically for the project.
Any remaining advance payment will be refunded after those amounts have been deducted.
The accepted quotation may include project-specific cancellation arrangements.
12. Consumer cancellation rights
This section applies where you are an individual purchasing services wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession.
If the contract is made online, by email or by telephone, you will normally have the right to cancel within 14 days beginning the day after the contract is formed.
To cancel, email michal.forejtek@stratcore-solutions.co.uk with a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You may use the model cancellation form at the end of these terms, but you do not have to.
If you ask us to begin work during the 14-day cancellation period:
you must make that request expressly;
if you cancel after work has begun, you may need to pay a proportionate amount for work already completed;
if the service is completed in full during the cancellation period, your cancellation right will end only where you expressly requested early performance and acknowledged that consequence.
If no work has started and you cancel within the applicable period, payments received for the service will be refunded.
These terms do not remove or restrict your statutory consumer rights.
13. Problems with the service
If you believe the service has not been delivered with reasonable care and skill or does not match the agreed scope, contact us promptly with:
the project reference;
a description of the problem;
the affected file, sheet or calculation;
an example of the result you expected.
Where appropriate, we will attempt to correct or repeat the affected work within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience.
Where correction or repeat performance is impossible, cannot be completed within a reasonable time or would cause significant inconvenience, an appropriate price reduction or refund may be available.
14. Limitations and exclusions
We do not guarantee that:
every source-data error will be identifiable;
ambiguous records can be resolved without customer input;
a workbook will produce a particular financial or commercial result;
third-party software will never change or affect compatibility;
a workbook will remain suitable if its structure, formulas or source systems are later changed.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for:
death or personal injury caused by negligence;
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
breach of rights that cannot legally be excluded;
any other liability that cannot legally be limited.
For customers acting wholly or mainly for business purposes, and subject to the paragraph above:
we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses;
we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity or anticipated savings; and
our total liability arising from an individual project will not exceed the total fees paid or payable for that project.
These business limitations do not apply to a consumer where doing so would conflict with statutory rights.
15. Ending a project
We may suspend or end a project if:
an invoice remains overdue;
necessary information or instructions are not provided;
you ask us to perform unlawful or misleading work;
continuing would create an unacceptable security or confidentiality risk;
you seriously breach the agreed terms.
Where reasonably possible, we will explain the issue and allow an opportunity to correct it first.
If we end a project for reasons that are not your fault, we will refund any advance payment relating to work that has not been completed.
16. Events outside reasonable control
Neither party will be responsible for delay caused by circumstances genuinely outside its reasonable control.
The affected party should notify the other as soon as reasonably possible. The parties will discuss a revised timetable or, where the delay is substantial, whether the unfinished part of the project should be cancelled.
17. Website information and third-party links
We take reasonable care over information published on the website, but general website content is not a substitute for a project-specific review.
Links to external websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for external content, availability or security.
18. Complaints
Please send complaints to michal.forejtek@stratcore-solutions.co.uk and include enough information for us to identify the project and understand the issue.
We will acknowledge the complaint and aim to provide a substantive response within ten business days.
The parties should first try to resolve a disagreement directly and reasonably. This does not prevent either party from exercising legal rights.
19. Changes to these terms
The version applying to a project is the version provided or available when that project is accepted, unless both parties agree otherwise.
We may update these terms for future projects. A later website update will not retrospectively change an existing contract.
20. Governing law
These terms and any dispute or claim arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
For business customers, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, any mandatory legal protections and rights to bring proceedings in your home courts remain unaffected.
